When you use Bizvoc, we process data necessary to provide our service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR):
If you choose to subscribe to our Premium version, your payment will be processed securely via our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our servers. Your payment data is transmitted directly to Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (and potentially Stripe, Inc. in the USA). Stripe processes this data in accordance with their own strict privacy policies. The transfer of data to the US is safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

On this website (bizvoc.com) and in the app (app.bizvoc.com) we use PostHog, an analytics service provided by PostHog Inc., 2261 Market Street #4008, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. We use it to count how many people visit, where they come from, and where they drop off — for example between opening the app and creating an account — so we can fix what puts people off.
PostHog processes the pages and screens you view, the page or campaign link (UTM parameters) that referred you, clicks and actions in the app (such as starting a sign-up, completing onboarding or a practice session), technical details such as browser, operating system, device type and screen size, and your IP address, which is used to derive an approximate location (country, region, city). Text you enter into form fields — such as your email address or password — is not collected.
No cookies, nothing stored on your device: We run PostHog in a cookieless mode. It sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's local or session storage; the random visitor ID exists only in your browser's memory and is discarded when you close or reload the page. Because no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent under § 25 TDDDG is required, and PostHog is not part of the cookie banner.
Signed-in users: Once you are signed in to the app, we link these events to your internal account ID (never your email address), so we can see how the app is used over time — for example whether people come back after their first week.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is understanding and improving our website and app in a way that is as privacy-friendly as possible. The data is stored on PostHog's servers in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). PostHog acts as our processor on the basis of a data processing agreement; to the extent that data may be accessed from the USA, this is safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Your right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You can object to this processing at any time. If you enable "Do Not Track" in your browser, PostHog sends no data at all. You can also contact us using the details in our Legal Notice.

We use Microsoft Clarity, a web analytics service provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland ("Microsoft"). Clarity helps us understand how BizVoc is actually used — which screens work and where people get stuck — so we can improve them.
Clarity records your interaction with the page: mouse movement, clicks, taps, scrolling, the pages you view, the page that referred you, your IP address, and technical details such as browser, operating system, device type and screen size. From this it reconstructs a replay of your session and aggregates behaviour across users into heatmaps. Text you enter into form fields — including your email address and password — is masked by Clarity and is not transmitted to us or to Microsoft.
For this purpose Clarity stores two cookies on your device, _clck (valid for 1 year) and _clsk (valid for 1 day), which allow your actions to be linked across page views within a session.
Legal basis: We store and read this information on your device, and process the resulting data, only if you have given us your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Analytics is entirely optional — declining has no effect on your ability to use BizVoc.
Withdrawing your consent: You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, as easily as you gave it. On this website, use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. In the app, open your Profile page and set Analytics to "Don't allow". Withdrawing removes the Clarity cookies and stops further collection; it does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Microsoft acts as our processor on the basis of a data processing agreement and may process data in the United States. Such transfers are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
